Thapar University, formerly Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology situated in Patiala, Punjab. The Thpar University University was founded in 1956 by Karam Chand Thapar. The applying candidates must follow the following Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have 12th (XII) Class Qualified or equivalent with well and good marks (60% Aggregate) in Subject to Science Stream Subject Combination from a recognized Board.
He/She must have Qualified in AIEEE 2013 Examination with minimum score as 20% and good moral score.
Candidates born after or on or 1st October, 1987 are Eligible to apply for B.Tech/B.E. Courses in University. 
NOTE THAT: There is relaxation for reserved categories candidates in Marks Percentage(%) and Age Limit as per govt. rules.
